We built Inventrixs to help you run your business — not to collect your data. We only collect what's necessary to provide the service, and we never sell your information to anyone.

Information We Collect
We collect the following information when you use Inventrixs:
- Account information: your name and email address when you register.
- Business data: products, sales transactions, customer records, and inventory data you enter into the app.
- Device data: device type and OS version for compatibility purposes.
We do not collect payment card details. Subscription payments are processed entirely by Google Play.
Section 02
How We Use Your Information
Your information is used solely to provide the Inventrixs service:
- Account data is used for authentication via Supabase.
- Business data is stored locally on your device (Free plan) or synced to our secure cloud database (Starter/Pro plans).
- Aggregated store data — sales totals, inventory counts — is sent to the Groq AI service to power the AI Assistant feature. No customer names or personal identifiers are sent to Groq.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for advertising.

Third-Party Services
Inventrixs uses the following third-party services:
- Supabase (supabase.com) — User authentication and cloud data storage.
- Groq (groq.com) — Powers the AI Assistant. Only anonymized business summaries are transmitted.
- Google Play Billing — Handles all subscription payments. We never see your payment details.
- Google OAuth — Optional sign-in. We only receive your name and email from Google.
Each service has its own privacy policy governing how they handle your data.
Section 04
Data Storage & Security
- Free plan: All business data is stored locally on your device using SQLite. Nothing leaves your device.
- Starter/Pro plan: Data is synced to Supabase cloud servers protected by industry-standard encryption (TLS in transit, AES-256 at rest).
- Authentication tokens are stored in your device's secure encrypted storage (Android Keystore).
Section 05
Camera & Storage Permissions
- Camera: Used only to scan barcodes and take product photos. Photos are stored locally on your device and never uploaded to our servers.
- Storage: Used only to save receipt images to your gallery when you choose to do so.
We request these permissions only when you use the relevant features.
Section 06
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access all your data — it is visible within the app at all times.
- Export your data — available via the Inventory and Reports screens (Starter/Pro).
- Delete your account and data — available in Profile → Delete Account. Local data is removed immediately. Cloud data is permanently purged within 30 days.
Section 07
Data Retention
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, local data is cleared immediately and cloud data is permanently deleted within 30 days.
Subscription purchase records are retained by Google Play in accordance with their policies.
Section 08
Children's Privacy
Inventrixs is designed for business owners and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
Section 09
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We will notify users of significant changes through the app. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
